Camp Town Circuit Fast Ride

Camp Town Fast Rides are a practice circuit series hosted by SSC.

The purpose is to have fun learning the skills necessary to become competent and confident while riding fast in a group!  

The format is one lap neutral and 6 laps fast!  For safety, we hold position around the corner from San Joaquin onto Plaza Dr, no passing around this corner, just hold your position.  There is plenty of space to take this corner at speed but DO NOT swing wide into traffic on Plaza Drive. Aim for the bike lane on Plaza.

This event gives you the chance to practice those skills needed if your looking to ride fast in a group.  Learn cornering in a group at fast speeds. Practice strategies you've wanted to try.  If you are new to this type of riding please just sit in and go fast without taking any pulls. Learn to keep it smooth and safe!  And when you are ready, go for it!

Experienced fast riders are expected to mentor those just beginning to ride fast. Depending on attendees, specific skills may be taught. But the event will generally always end with a fast finish and will always be fun!
